Hi,

I Have started my 26th day of being a non smoker I have been using champix since the start and I feeling better about it this time.

I have tried endless times to quit with patches and everything else but nothing has cut it like champix, its just a shame about the side effects but that is what you get i suppose :)

Hello, I am in my 6th month of quitting on champix - I too had the lungs hurting thing, felt more breathless than when I smoked !

So don't worry its just you - think it was the champix as went as soon as I stopped taking it. The other side effects are worth it too

Your quit is going really well! I am using Champix 7 weeks today, I am one of the lucky ones no side effects at all.

I just love being a non-smoker! I had a letter from the hospital today giving me an appointment with a warning at the bottom no smoking in the hospital grounds, which didn't bother me in the slightest lol. Good luck with your quit

Champix is great, isn't it. It just seems to take away the desire for a fag.
