Hot Flushes/Chills

It's been over two and a half months now, with a few minor, short-lived lapses. I use gum occasionally, maybe one or two pieces a day and e-cigarettes, mainly in the evenings when I'm not busy.

Two things are badly affecting me, the occasional really, really vicious, tearful mood (once a day?) and rapid cycling hot flushes/chills. Might be my age but it seems to be connected to nicotine intake and I didn't suffer before I quit smoking. From a search of previous posts, the hot flushes seem to affect a minority of quitters, male and female.

Anyone else affected?
