Day 2 - Getting Harder

Yep it's starting to hit me now. Was in work all day and a real challenge when others are off for a smoke and you can smell it when it drifts in

Such a challenge but one I've passed. Cravings are getting much stronger so I'm having to hang tough, since I've arrived home I'm more agitated and eager to do things more but at the same time my attitude stinks with everyone and I'm really having to dig deep

I won't let all my hard work go to waste though, approaching 34 hours now since my last cigarette and I'm proud but I know bigger tests are ahead. It's like waiting for that storm to hit when all the clouds are over head, you just know it's coming :(

You really are doing so well, I would say it peaks on day 3, so you are more than half way there. Try to keep busy, keep picturing the kids faces, go for a walk, run, bike ride, any thing that keeps you occupied - you can, and you will do this.

doing so well

mate i so know how you feel - keep strong, have a shower, go for a walk - anything. Try to sit with the craving and get angry with it rather than others - try to be angry at nicotine and know you are killing it - the pain you feel is the feeling of nicotine and your addiction dying - it is a parasite that has been living off you - try to enjoy killing the f***a (sorry got carried away there!) :)

Because of the time zone difference I believe by the time you get this post you will be on Day 3. Which is fantastic!!!! You can win this fight - just hang in there. No need to wait for the storm - you are in the middle of it!!! But it will pass! For some it passes faster then for others but if we all hang on tight we all can get through it. Don't give in!!!!!
