Perhaps you can write down your reasons for quitting and also make a plan for what you are going to do and say to yourself when the first big craves come rolling in, because they will.
Best thing to do is get your thoughts around it, decide it's a choice not to smoke and that's what you choose. Then accept that it's going to take time to re-wire your brain as a non smoker and take it an hour at a time. Don't try to look too far forward in the beginning!!
do you know what hun, make a plan to quit and make having a cigerette just not an option. So no matter what you do to make yaself feel better in that moment its not smoking e.g cookie, chocolate and shot of tequila etc
I am 79 hours into my quit. Cold turkey. Its weird because this morning i felt rotten and now tonight after the 74 hour mark i feel totally normal again!! like i never quit actually! so weird i guess the 72 hour thing is true down to the hour!
what I am saying is...how do you know if you can do it before you even get there? dont worry hun just try, try and try again you will do it
