Wow day 10 already

Cant believe it, reached day 10 already.

I think yesterday was the hardest day yet for me. Husband at home over the bank holiday and i was so tempted to have a smoke with him.

Didnt really see him much though yesterday since he went and smoked in the garage and i deliberately kept myself out.

I gave in once and went and sat with him in the garage and used my inhalator .

That seemed to work well actually. I have only used it maybe 2-3 times so far but nice to know in "an emergency" it works.

I hope everyone else is continuing to be smoke free and happy

Easter everyone.

:)

Nice bit of will-power there. Magic. I sometimes think there can be positive angles when someone else in the family smoke - it can illustrate how offensive and smelly smoking can be and thus act as a prompt for a quit. However, it can easily be the complete opposite. Good luck :D

Do you know what Dicko, you are exactly right.

The horrid stale smell of smoke on my husband, i can smell it on his clothes, his hands, his breath and even as he walks in the room.

THAT is spurring me on the most to keep not smoking, apart from the fact i took the dogs on their usual walk yesterday (up a steep hill into the woods) and usually i had to stop several times in the pretence of looking at the view, but yesterday i got to the top only puffing slightly.

I was really proud of myself. :D

Ha I often did the exact same when walking up a hill. Stop and pretend!! Getting much better now with more wind in the lungs :)

Haha i would settle for walking with them first and being able to hold a conversation without being out of breath.

Maybe next week will try piggy back races up the hill :D
