Hi Dean,

I am sorry that you are back to starting over and I know how rough that is! :(

You said you just smoked your last cig and want to begin again, that right?

If you wouldn't mind, I would like to make a suggestion.... maybe you want to spend some time today and do some thinking not just about why you want to quit because you seemed to have very strong reasons back in January but .... here's the biggie, ready??

Two things, 1) what was it that caused you to fail and 2) how will this be different? What are your triggers and how will you handle them. Believe me I thought I could just wing it without a plan and it didn't work (at least for me).

Try to have some action or thought at the ready for when you next have a serious craving for a cigarette cuz you know it's coming soon.

Jump right in and begin again if you really think your ready or alternatively take a day or two and make a plan for you that you can live with so when you begin again you are armed and ready. Just my opinion by the way do what's best for you.....

As you know everyone here will try and support you in your efforts so use the forum as much as you can. I wish you all the best in your quit and am happy to help if I can.

One more thing (sorry I am running on) ditch that e-cig and find another NRT IMHO....

Best of luck Dean! Stay strong and you will do this! Just do whats right for you. What better reason can you have for quitting than living a long healthy life and seeing your daughter growing up into a beautiful young lady! I wish you all the best! :)

It's not easy to admit on here (well to anyone!) that you have smoked after a quit .... I know as I've been there twice! But you obviously want to quit bad, because your here. You can do it and you will do it.

Wishing you all the best, take it each day at a time and keep yourself busy. Xx
