Day 9 of champix and gave up the weed sticks yesterday. Feeling a bit nervous as today seems to be dragging at work and can not stop thinking of having a cheeky smoke.

It's certainly a challenge trying to rewire our brains after all these years but it's very rewarding when you do xx

I stopped on Day 9 of Champix and found that I still had to use some willpower, no where near as much as I would have needed without it though

I constantly thought about cigarettes, but it does get easier, I am now on Day 47 of not smoking and do find myself thinking about cigarettes some times, no where near as much as the first few weeks. Take each day as it comes and stay aware.

Thank you all. Think I will go to bed early and then hopefully the first day will go quicker. Finding it hard as my husband still smokes, outside but can still smell it.

It is all consuming at first Clairejane, but it does get better as each day goes by. Keep it going!
