Well, you wouldn't believe, really you wouldn't.
I still haven't smoked, that's the best thing that happened today.
72 hours down and counting.

Brilliant. Have spared a thought for you today Paul. For me it started getting a little easier after day 3. There has been crap bits but the lows have been not so low and the highs a bit higher. So keep at it.
Well done Paul
Ya doing great!!!!!!! be a whole week before you know it how fab is that
Thanks Shorty (I hope you don't mind being called that?) lol, marching on towards that first week! forum.nosmokingday.org.uk/s...
Well done, and keep it up.
If you can do a week, you can quit. It only gets easier from that point.
I had the "empty" feeling you described in your other thread. According to Allen Carr, this is the only physical symptom of nicotine withdrawal, and is perfectly normal.
Exercise and general exertion is so much more pleasant even after a week of not smoking.
Hey Paul, well done mate,
It willk get easier but dont expect to feel any different! carry on as normal and you will forget the cravings. I am on week 11 soon 12 and have to say there are times now where its the hardest part and how the hell i have not caved in i will never know!! but its just a case of forgetting!!!
keep it up
Derek
Well done - excellent work
I'm on Day 4 and have just joined as the ciggie monster is on the rampage today and I need support/inspiration and some friendly banter to help me through
Hi Tracey, well done on quitting. You'll find a lot of friendly people here and you can rant at us if things are tough. Read lots of posts and they will help you stick to your guns.
Thanks Una for your reply, really appreciated- monster has quietened slightly but just keep telling myself it will get better. Reading everyone else's stories has helped tremendously. Feeling happier now
