Iv just done my first on a very long time 20 mins outdoor run. I say outdoor because I normal do 20mins wii fit run.
Even tho my trainer are old my leggings kept falling of my ass.. And one of my headphones kept falling out me ear..
I did it:D.. And it's way harder than the wii running with that I can still breath.. I'm cream crackerd.. Even tho iv noticed a improvement in my breathing I have a long way to go yet.. Iv not yet had a cough since giving up. But I think that run has loosed it a bit... I'm boiling hot and my face is like a tomatoe..
But I feel fab..
Will still need new trainers tho and defo sum new leggins :D:mad:

Yay go Shelly! I'm dead chuffed for you, it's like having a virtual running partner
My wife has the same problem you have with leggings and other bits and pieces falling down, we got new trainers but just ones off eBay for about £12 a pair in case we decided after a week that we'd had enough
Just got back myself and read that, so I feel like you, bloody worn out but glad I went again. Did a circuit with the missus then one straight away with my lad who's 17 (so he had to jog well within himself to let me keep up!) so I've done 3 miles this evening

That's why I'm doing it in me old trainer to get used to it then if I keep it up I will get new ones.
Bloody legs are like lead weights but went I little further today I'm loving it as I'm also finding new little hidden paths that iv never bin down before
And wore different jogging pants so no more falling down business
Well done Shelly, glad you're properly attired today!
I'm waiting for The Boss to get home so we can get out for today's installment but yesterday's 3 mile session is still there in the old legs today so won't be going too fast!
Oh, thanks Dippy ha ha ha I passed that on, she laughed too then started shopping online for certain "running" garments.....

Think I might do every other day on running one day running one day yoga
Yoga, as in yoghurt. Just me being a clown, and not a very funny one at that! it's always the first thing that pops into my head when I see the word "yoga" and when I read your post and imagined not running every day but having loads of yoghurt instead....you see the sad mental picture I had

Just got back from another run. And my breathing is a lot better get my breath back quicker. And I did more running than walking even tho it's roasting outside.
Got a new app on me phone called map my run it's really good it shows me were I ran to and back said I did 3.33km in 25 mins
Will have to get the OH put sum more music on my phone tho as its only got Michael jacksons greatest hits on it. Not got a clue how to transfer my music on my MP3 onto my IPhone. I'm so rubbish with it
Nice 1 Shelley, you should enter yourself into a local 5k run, I have done 4 this year so far they are great fun and give you motivation to carry on running and stay fit.
Also had new running trousers on that I got so no more showing a builders bum to the traffic.. I also saw a squirrel too.. With a sandwich must of bin sumones left over dinner.
Really getting into it now...
But iv got a bloody migraine now so it's painkillers and rest for the night
Great that Shelley. Do you have somewhere nice to run? Or do you run around your local streets. Do you live near Biddulph Moor? That is really hilly.
No don't live any were near there haze. It's a mix bag I run the streets roads but it takesz me into a boulevard with all trees and squirrels with sandwiches. I live in town centre so it's mainly roads
Ah squirrels! Not seen another since our first time out.....keep it going Shelly, you could do a 5k like Rob says, you did 3k the other day? I didn't feel like going on Monday but read that you had been out so went anyway....you're doing brilliantly.
Just got back in myself, me and the missus have taken six minutes off our 1.5 mile joint time on our route, her fastest yet!
Looks like its no more running for me unless I just do speed walking as me trainers are split in the middle I cud still used them as there not slit inside but I'm afraid of them completely splitting and that means me walking back home shoe less
Speed walking it is then. How you manage to split your trainers I dont know. Have a look on ebay thay are a lot cheaper Shelley cos you dont want to lose the momentum now that you have started running and got into it so well.

I've got my Godchildren over tonight so I have a night off running (not that I particularly want one) but we did 3.5 miles around a huge car boot sale then around town this morning, according to the wife's pedometer on her phone, plus I did 3 miles last night so I don't feel too guilty
According to my app on my phone.. Since iv bin running iv done
15.83mi
3hrs 24min 39s
Off running altogether. I think I did a few runs b4 this app
How come you are off running? I thought you were really enjoying it and you have bought new trainers? Hope you are feeling ok Shelley is that why you are not running cos you dont feel well?

Hey Shelly, don't worry I'm all good though it's nice to be missed ! Work's an absolute cow at the moment so I'm not getting as much downtime as I'd like, to read as much on here as I had been etc but I am off after Friday for a week so will get a rest at last!
Still running, not as often as I'm bloody worn out in the evenings but I have the 5k in 18 days so will be soon getting some more miles in hope you're well yourself?

Work stress not had that in ages since I got laid off.. I'm just having applying for jobs stress.. And uni stress as I'm now doing another course in accounting and sage.. And it's hard
It can't be anything serious or you wouldn't have to wait so long. You're going to walk in there and be told everything is normal. Doesn't matter to the NHS that they put you through a lot of worry for nothing.

I really hope so I do. But I no my doctors and if u get results of any test come back fine they tell u over the phone. I'm just kinda hoping they say its fine but still want to investigate it more.
Hi Shelley, I am sure that they will come back fine and you can resume your running. I know you were starting to really enjoy it and it definitely helps lift your mood. Let us know on Thursday what to doc says.
I will be away when it is your b/day on the 18th Are you having a do with it being a special one? If so I hope you have a great time and at least you will have all the results in then and you can let your hair down. Take loads of pics aswell
