omg i feel horrid..... 11 weeks since i last had a ciggie( first 3 weeks i used patches now nothing) i feel dizzy all the while you know that feeling you get when you have a ciggie after a long time .... just like that but all the time even when i lay down been dr and she said its cos you stopped smoking possibly ..great ....

Welcome and well done to have got to 11 weeks.

We all experience different symptoms at different times, and there's a massive range of them - just have a look in the 'other symptoms ...' section of the forum.

Were you on NRT, and have you recently stopped it?

If it's any consolation, I had a really rough time at around 11-12 weeks. I had a virtually constant sense of nausea and anxiety - not as bad as in the first month, but very irritating at a stage when I felt things should have settled a bit. This was coupled with a strange sense of light headedness, like you are describing, and confusion and lack of concentration, also like the early days. At the same time, I also started to get a really yucky throat. At 16 weeks, the nausea/anxiety is occasional, and the throat is almost clear.

We all react differently, but having spent years poisoning ourselves, we then have to work through the strange sensations of healing!

Stick with it - it will settle.
