Hi everyone, how are we all doing,it is nice to see some familiar names on here and I am still wondering where the rest went?

So day 43,sounds pretty good huh!!!

Well into the 2nd month and the 3rd month is looming quite nicely just in front of us.

It has been a big struggle to stay clean, can we say"stay clean"?? Is it really that much of an addiction that we can say that? I think so...........we were addicted and we have stayed clean.yes we can say that!

I have to say that as the days pass then it gets a bit easier each time but we are far away from being out of the woods.........I have had a couple of situations where I would have smoked badly since quitting, usually the alcohol and the drink go together but I have remained strong and not given in. This is made a hell of a lot easier by having a supportive husband along the way on the quit and I am proud to say that we are both at day 43.......it is not just me...!!!

So we have gained a little weight but we are bike riding at least 3 times a week for between 10 and 12 miles each time!!

That has got a lot easier as the weeks have passed!!!

So keep on everyone and well bloody done!!!

Jackie;)

well done jae yes it is an addiction and its wise to treat it that way, nothing wrong with staying clean. its a shame that the addiction of smoking is seen as quite respectable when compared with something like gluesniffing or crak. Its an addiction and the dealers want us hooked for the rest of our lives i for one dont want to play the game anymore...

good luck to u and your hubby.enjoy riding your bikes think how great you will feel when summer arrives.

Today is my day 43! That equals 860 less cigarettes. I am looking for to celebrating 1000 less cigarettes.

I find it is getting easier as well, sometimes i go for hours without even thinking about it.

I am looking forward to some day (and i know that's a couple years away) that i don't think about it all day:)
