Cup of Tea?

Hi everyone,

Seems to have been a busy day on the forum today but can I ask a question? Has anyone found themselves really addicted to tea?

I have never been much of a tea drinker but lately I have been drinking a lot of tea and I mean a lot. I even go hmmmmm like an advert. Whats that about?

Anyone else had any new excessive habits? :D

According to my new keep fit / lose weight app, a cup of tea (semi skimmed milk and one sugar) is roughly 40 calories.

The asda strawberry and milk chocolate muffin I had with my cuppa was 467 calories

I have totally gone off coffee but love tea!!!

I was eating about 3 packs of polos a day for a while (after my biscuit addiction) but have managed to quit these cold turkey (although I may be tempted by the odd extra strong or xxx mint :D:D)

Week one... Done

Hello All,

I have been reading so much on here the past few days and it has helped me sooooo much. Everyone is great at supporting each other. I quit smoking on Jan 19th (with the patches) then went cold turkey after a week. I was having withdrawls with the patch, so I said, might as well get the first 3 days over with. Went through "the crazies" gained 4 pounds (eekkkk), then started with vitamins and water to flush. Feeling better everyday, with the occasional urge, but no longer overwhelming. I recommend passion flower for anxiousness/ restlessness and Lobelia for withdrawl symptoms. It has seemed to work for me in the last week. I'm so glad to have found this forum. :D

muesli !! i am now i believe addicted to that since stopping smoking . its just there its easy to do , one more bowl wont hurt etc etc takes so long to chew through though that if i wanted to i am to knackered to smoke anyway . i am considering a Muesli replacement therapy patch course .

and no i dont own a pair of sandals or knit my own jumpers iincase anyone is thinking of asking :)

i am moving to tea from coffe . I have come to the conclusion after 23 days of not smoking that coffee is the prompt for smoking. so one or two cups a day at most .
