My quit reasons.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum but have been reading for a while.

I'm on day 20 and I'm using patches, in all honesty its been pretty easy, my previous quit attempts were always hard and I felt that I was living half a life because I didn't have my 'little friend'.

My 'little friend' is now my sworn enemy, the school bully, the piece of mouldy fruit at the bottom of the fruit bowl because my ex friend has given my mum small cell lung cancer. 98% of people who get small cell lung cancer are smokers so we can't blame genetics, or bad luck it literally is the fags.

Oh and it bloody stinks and costs a small fortune!

Good luck everyone, its a battle worth winning

Good luck to you as well. I am also in my second week and it is not easy as I have imagined it. But I am sure that this is for the best.

God given warning

Why did I try to quit? I suppose the medical profession is trying to tell you something when after doing various tests for a suspected heart attack and continuing investigations into the condition that caused me to be admitted to hospital. That one of their courses of action was to send the smoking cessation advisor to your bedside. Just the wake up call I needed. Do you think thet were trying to tell me something?

Not what you're looking for?
