Hello, I'm 'planning' my next quit and looking for some help to get me past the initial stage. I was thinking of trying champix again but can remember the side effects. I wondered if anyone on here is using/has successfully used zyban to quit and if so what are your experiences with it?

I got down to 2 cigs a day but (as i've learnt from this forum) my head wasn't in the right place so failed to quit at the time as it's not a 'magic cure potion'.
The only side effect i had was vivid dreams for a few days......but.....we're all different so you may have different side effects.
Doesn't help much i know but if you're tried Champix and it didn't agree with you then i'd defo give Zyban a go.
Mmmm, Zyban......doesn't get mentioned much thesedays does it?? My OH and brother in law tried Zyban a few years back. They both reported the vivid dreams but I don't recall any other side effects being mentioned. (None so bad as Champix anyway!) I don't think either of them quit at that time, OH went on to quit with Champix and brother in law quit with Lozenges. I think whatever we use our level of "quit willpower" is the most important factor. We could probably put leeks behind our ears and still have the same success/failure rate as with using all of these aids. Whatever works for you at that one given point in time is the best method. Give the Zyban a go and charge up your willpower reserves, you know you can do it as you've been here before, all the best to you Tinks !
