My reason for quitting

My granddaughter who is 5 said Nana you smell like your house and I said what of smoke and she said yes I was disgusted so made an appointment to get Champix - started them on 2 March - last cigarette 6 March and glad I have stopped.

thanks still felt sick today but persevered. was over the moon on Saturday night when I was able to have a drink without a cigarette first time I had a drink so at least havent gone off that and was not tempted

Hi Paula and well done on deciding to stop smoking. I don't know how long you have smoked but you can do it.

Take a look at me who would have thought after 52 years I could stop. I only went a few days on Champix then went cold turkey, I think I did not want to add another chemical to my body but if it is helping you stick with it.

A guy I taught to drive stopped using Champix and now it's around two years for him.
