It's day 4. It's the end of day 4 actually and its been the easiest yet.

I had a really stressful day yesterday getting ready for a huge meeting today....but I didn't need cigarettes. I must admit I really wanted one at 11pm last night while I was still in the office but I had a cup of tea instead. So what have I learned? I DON'T NEED CIGARETTES. All the years I convinced myself I really needed them to get through stressful times were all lies.

I've saved £40! In 4 days!!

A colleague is only 28 and smoking 40 a day. He said seeing me do it had made him think its worth trying. It's only day 4 but apparently I'm "annoyingly jovial".:D

Now on to day 5!

What can I say, other than that I think you are going to be an inspiration to many on here, you attitude is great and that’s what’s needed to help you stay smoke free, you are right smoking does not ease stress in fact it increases it because for 2 to 3 mins you smoke and then you get the withdrawal and then you need more and so the roller coaster effect goes on so when you quit the anxiety may go up for a little while but then it goes down to a normal level that we can all deal with, so keep on being manically happy why not you deserve it
