I'm on Day 5 of not smoking. I am getting the usual listed symptom. I just wanted to know if anyone else feels really cold? I know it is probably due to the fact that I am tired and that my body is working to start the repair, plus the shock to the system of quitting, but just curious if anyone else feels it too.
Take care,
Elsa

Hi Elsa congratulations, you are doing really well and yes I felt the cold and I still do a bit, so it seems to be for me at least a part of quitting, I was never a cold fish before so hope it will ease when my body gets back to erm normal??? you keep your eyes focused on the Penthouse the heating bills are paid by NSD so never cold up there.
so sorry to gatecrash ur post but i am really struggling to post my own thread can someone pls help me and let me know what to do. i am a new quitter and really really struggling thanks soooo much, donna xx
Elsa, no it was boiling today lol. You may just be getting a cold. I heard that taking loads of vits helps after quitting so manybe give it ago. Oh and well done so far.
Yeah. I was wearing several layers today, I'm in bed with a hot water bottle now. It is getting colder here now but I think my response is disproportionate so may well be nicotine related
hi fallen angel - got ur msg, thanks so much, think ive go the hang of it now i'll be an expert soon enough haha. as for the cold theory i think there cud be some truth in it, i attempted a quit last week - failed miserably but back on it now - anyway, i felt really cold at times then at others really hot - a bit like when u get the common cold, however the temperature in general has dropped i think, ive even had to have the heating on at home and i am so stingy with the heating haha x
