Tomorrow is the day i end it with nicotine slavery. Going to do it CT as i dont think NRT is the way for me,but i will take one day at a time.
I have likened it to ending an unhealthy relationship that just isnt working.I have been the one doing all the giving,my health, money, time ect. And i have come to realise i get nothing back from it.
I,ve been doing all the giving and now i take back control and stop abusing my health

Good luck loopy-loo, you sound determined and have obviously thought this out well. I am on Day1 too, I would now have four cigarettes using patch cravings not to bad a little thick headed. Going to go for a walk with dog now, need to get the endorphins going. Now four of us quitting today.
Good luck to the 3 of you. I am on day 5 now and it isnt as bad as it was think everyone different but day 2 is the day i struggled with. Before you know it you will be approaching the end of the week and feeling quite proud of yourself
Yes i like it & so so true. It is a relationship with yourself ~ an abusive one that will make you poorly, look rough, feel needy, demand loads of your time, spend your money & yeh make you it's dependant slave really.
Like your viewpoint! It sure is as hard as giving up an unhealthy love affair. Especially if you are still in love. But a short pleasure is not worth giving up your entire life!

Good luck for tomorrow all of you, hope you all find a method that works... you all seem to be very determined though so I'm sure by the end of tomorrow you'll all be ridiculously proud of the day you decided take control of your lives!
