Farewell Room - Moving on Up to the Penthouse

Yes - its here! I whole year.

A great quitter - Bev - has already welcomed me to the 1 year room - but how could I possibly leave this room - the one I've been in the longest - without a farewell.

To those who may have just entered and are wondering if there is light at the end of the tunnel - Yes there is! And it should be shining very brightly very soon for you.

To those who may be wavering, and on the verge of a blip - DON'T! While I still think, albeit very rarely, that I fancy a cig - it passes. This will too! Otherwise you would never have got this far. So dig your heels in , be a stubborn git, and don't lose what you have fought and suffered so hard to achieve.

To those who have had no problems at all - I hate you and will punch you in the face if I meet you!! HA! Only joshing - you're just lucky buggers!

So there we are - 1 year done. I hope I may have helped somebody with my rantings and postings - coz there are SO many people on here who have helped me. And for that I will be eternally grateful.

Well done AJ and you deserve to be in the Penthouse, I am due to join the Penthouse club on 18th Dec 2010,so could you make sure that the bar has a stock of my favourite Single Malt "The Balvenie", but your post seems to be very final? as if you will not be back to help the younger quit members? Although we quit fags technically ourself,s, I believe I could not have quit without the help of the members of this forum! and I will probably always be here to help the new quiters,so I would hope that you don't give up talking and helping the people who are trying to quit. However AJ well done and please check the bar stocks for me.

FANTASTIC YOU ARE GREAT

I have now quit ten and a half months and like you have had a really rocky road, some weeks are great and others I still need a fag like mad. BUT I havent because of people like you on this site. I read your posts many times I might not have joined in, but I was here reading and going through all those emotions.

I guess what I am trying to say is that you never who is quietly reading and thinking about our posts, and you helped me, so well done and keep a decent bottle of red wine for me please when I join you at end of October.

What a hero you are my love. You helped me a lot especially at the 6 month stage when I was at my worst and I will always appreciate you for that.

Anyhow I am very pleased you are in the Penthouse and you should be very proud of yourself. I will be joining you in 5 weeks so make sure you tidy up after your party.
