Hi all

Hope you are all doing well today. I am 11 months as of yesterday and I still can't believe it! Where has this last year gone.... I have not found it easy and it still continues to challenge me, although not on a daily basis.

I still think about smoking and cigs but mainly when feeling particularly stressed. I still have the association that it might make me feel better. Thankfully the rational part of my brain pipes up and the thought goes away.

Still, not one blip during my quit so I know that if I can do it so can you. The key to my successful journey so far is ONE DAY AT A TIME!! It's how I got here. See you in 30 days in the penthouse, how exciting is that.

Still looking forward to the time when I hardly even think about smoking although Im not convinced that it will happen to me. Still, the odd annoying thought in return for a smoke free life - is it worth it? You betcha ya!!

What a girl

Well done Amanda on 11 month quit, and you must be really chuffed and rightly so. Keep me a cosy seat at the bar in the penthouse as I will be joining you there on 18th Dec 2010. Well done girl. Sorry I am late with the reply as I was in Stafford since wednesday with no internet connection.
