The first week is not necessarily the hardest but it is the longest. I won't pretend to you that it gets easier from here but it will go up and down easy times and hard times but as time goes on it will become easier to control.

A big well done on 1 week completed keep going it's worth it.

Well done fella, I'm on Day 7 today, my rage is quite bad this morning, I feel the cat used up 8 of itsa 9 lives be pestering me constantly and clawing at every door I shut behind me.

I put up the coat rack that fell down last night, my other half didn't speak to me for a while, probably because I used every expletive known to man when attempting to re-hang it into our crappy walls, eventually I gave up and sulked.

Watched "Hurt Locker" this morning, great film but the constant lighting of tailor made ciggarettes made me cry a little inside but on the plus side I went out for a "couple" of drinks on Saturday night and didn't smoke.

Can't believe I've got to day 7, I ordered that free quit pack from the NHS and while mostly filled with garbage the stickers and wall chart at least gives a guideline of my achievement, it also allows my non smoking girlfriend to get involved as she joyfully puts an additional well done sticker onto the 28 day map.
