I have felt depressed the last few days and easily upset, moody ect. I went for a chest xray yesterday and some breathing tests today. I dont get the results for a couple of weeks for the x-ray but the results from the breathing tests were good. They said I have the lungs of a 48 year old and as I'm 45 in April I feel thats pretty good really!
I have smoked from the age of 14 and quit nine days ago, had three days on patches then went cold turkey. I am treating it as a game and must stay one step ahead of the nicotine gremlin and watch out for all his mind games and tricks..... Not the best game I've ever played, but one I must and will win. ;):

Feeling moody, depressed, upset, angry are all realities for lots of us in the early to medium quit. Sorry I know this does not really help but at least you know it is normal.
sounds like you have not done too much damage to your lungs and that is fantastic, all the more reason to smoke again and risk any damage happening.
Like the idea of treating this as a game, as you say not the best game ever played but hey what ever works.
