Cough, cough....

Has anyone else noticed that coughing feels really weird now?

I go to cough and expect to cough half my lungs up as per in the past, but now I do a couple of short dry coughs and that's it...not a decent cough in sight! It does feel really strange

Anyone else notice this?

I have indeed, also noticed it with odd foods too, if heavily spiced can make me cough.

I'm more pleased that i don't have that stupid 'ahem' cough that i had when i used to smoke.. you'd always be doing it lol.

Coughs change as you quit.. mine did :)

i had the flu recently and it was the first time ive been ill since quitting in summer and it really took me back. I couldnt breath properly and was always coughing up stuff. I though to my self, wow - i used to pay a lot of money to feel like this all the time! haha. rediculous.

I'm not missing that silly little throat clearing thing I needed to do a lot when smoking. I never realised I did it, I do now realise I'm NOT doing it ;)

I had a stinking cold mid December and it left no lingering wet cough as was the norm when I'd spend a few nights sleeping on the sofa so as not to wake others.

Yes, it's weird having just normal throat clearing and not a 'cough' clearing - good though.

I'm already noticing a difference after only 4 weeks. I still cough and get a bit of the flem but I know this is my lungs getting rid of stuff and getting better.

Still no nocotine today not smoked all this year lol :D
