Hi Kay
Doing great thanks for asking ...and by the sound of it you too are breezing through this, cant comment about patches to be Honest Kay but i would have to trust what she is saying .. dont worry about Weight watchers you have a lifetime to lose a few pounds good luck sure the patches reduction will be the right thing ...keep going Kay freedom just around the corner
Well done on the quit, i'm a bit behind you but also on Patches.
I dont think there is a hard and fast rule to how long you should stay on Patches, if you look at Nicotinell and Niquitin sites (2 seperate patch makers) One of them i believe says to quit in 12 weeks and the other 10 weeks.
I think that it is different in each individual person, and if your advisor thinks that your ready then go for it. theres no reason that you cant go up again if you feel its too soon after giving it a go.
Good Luck, Although it wont be anywhere near as bad as you imagine... in fact, you'll hardly notice it. xx
How is everyone hope you are all doing great

Don't worry about the patches - you're a strong lady and will treat it as another positive step - that the medical people are confident enough in you to reduce the dosage - got to be a good thing.
Take advice from your quit nurse but be guided by your instincts.
I only stayed on the patches for a short while and much to nurses horror, came off the strong ones to the medium strength fairly quickly, and from those to without after just a few days.
She may be right but you have to go with what you feel you can manage with and who knows.... you've got this far with using them as aids, whose to say you can't manage just fine with less.
Great to hear you sounding good and strong - don't forget your glad rags for the end of month OctoQuitt Ball
