Good morning....here we are all in Month 2, even if it is just for one day before Sue leaves tomorrow.

I've cleaned up and decorated the bar. Black Tie do today so the champagne is here to welcome everyone in and the string quartet is in the corner.

Soosy has done all the catering, the cakes look amazing Soosy.

Enjoy everyone, we deserve it, November is now behind us.

Bloody hell, who thought we would have got this far!! Aren't we clever girls and boys. Right I will unload the van (car too small for all the wine) and I've invited a few live bands (I'm a rock chick myself) to play through the day.

Please excuse my lack of suitable footwear - apparently I threw my only pair of heels away last year in a slightly drunken fit of disgust.. ..

So with that in mind... here's a lovely tune to get us in the mood

I've bought trays of mezze and some lovely fresh baked med bread with olives. That will go lovely with the quavers Dee.

Is the Chocolate and Rum torte real (I mean real real?) because the one on the bar is absolutely divine....... chocolate and rum, a heavenly combination.

I'll have to give you a recipe for Brandy Alexander or some such named pud. Looks like a posh cheesecake but has no cheese, just oodles of cream, cocoa de-la-creme (or substitue with Baileys and Tia Maria for the commoners like me) and eggs.
