Very excited to be on here. After a million prior quits, I finally felt that I was truly ready but needed that extra push. The doctor gave me Champix. I was a bit worried with everything I read (not on here, but other places), but this stuff is FABULOUS. I quit on day 8 of the pills. I can't believe that I am having no withdrawal symptoms at all from getting off the fags. I've got a few side effects from the drug (the nausea and headache, for instance). But, it is a small price to pay. I feel so 'normal' that I can't believe it. I know it is early days, but the fact that I can be off the fags AND be clear headed and logical about staying quit, if you know what I mean!
Thanks for all the great information on this forum!
