Remember when you were really young and you hit your 10th birthday? what an event!!!!! double digit birthday, and yet it seemed like such a long time!

Well you've come a long way, 10 days into this, and how good is that!! be proud of it, and indeed on your upcoming holiday to be able to breath in that fresh air and enjoy yourself will be great. I am envious of the holiday, its been 4 years since i last had a holiday now, really could do with a break, so please enjoy yours and chug a nice glass of wine for us won't you

Yup I'm one hell of a lot more chilled than I was last week - back to my normal self most of the time , minus the grumpy moments I had as a smoker when I couldn't have a cig.

Holiday wise, my OH is French, so we drive down to her parent's place in the middle of France for a few weeks each summer. This time - leaving from North Shields (near Newcastle) by car ferry to Amsterdam to cut down on the driving. Then heading into Germany for a day or two to have a look at Bonn and the Black Forest region, then cutting back into France, OH's parents for two weeks, then Nice for a few days and I'm flying back to geordieland whilst she stays with her parents for a bit longer (teachers get longer holidays than business owning writers ha ha)
