Hello I am new and feeling very fed up of smoking. I am sick of being out of breath, smelling of smoke, my home smelling of smoke etc etc.. I have been a smoker for 15 years, full time 11 years.

I would like to quit because I am fed up of smelling of smoke, my home smelling of smoke and feeling unhealthy and out of breath. I am also 31 with no children yet and would like to start a family now but have been unsuccessful conceiving for on and off the past year which I feel is to partly do with my smoking habit.

I also have raynauds and get it quite bad all year round, smoking doesnt help with that. I have just started myself on a healthier diet so would like to help that along with quiting smoking.

Very good reasons - and the main one there is that you are FED UP with smoking! I was too - fed up with wasting so much money, fed up with worrying about my health and fed up with being controlled by a bl00dy drug.

I wish you every success - stick with it and post on here often:)

Hi VanillaCat :)

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

You have some compelling reasons there not least the fact that you're fed up with smoking and that will help you in this fight for freedom that we all must win

Post often to let us know how you're doing, to rant, rave have a moan whatever you like pretty much anything goes on here OK

Best Wishes
