I made a big mistake in having to much to drink yesterday and i lost all my ambitions to quit. And i smoked 6 cigarettes. This morning i feel very angry with myself that i did smoke and that i am back to day one again.
Ive now learned my lesson to not drink on a bad attitude.

Never mind, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and back to day 1 and this time you'll do it for sure. I was going to go out last night but as I'd had a bad day of cravings decided to give it a miss otherwise I'd be in the same boat as you. good luck xx
I really think you ought to not go for a drink when you're so early in a quit why not leave it for about a month until your quit is better established and then watch how much you drink[sorry to preach to you]
I'm sure you're mad with yourself this morning and really hope that as you say you've learnt your lesson
Hi Lee, Sorry to hear you lost your way yesterday. Don't beat yourself up. Learn from it, pick yourself & get straight back on :p. Routing for you. Love. G. xx
Thanks everyone im feeling much better now and ready to fight that demon once again. Good point margarath no its fine to preach as i need a good kick up the ass. No beer for me for awhile now
Good for you Lee. You will feel even better laying iff the beer as well I should think. I need to lay of the wine as well. Not had a relapse because of it but just 'cos I feel I need to knock drinking on the head as well. (Only drink on a Friday night I hasten to add!! Sounded like I was always at it then LOL) Perhaps we should make a no drinking pact???? G.xx
Don't worry about it and dwell on it for the rest of the day just jump back on the band wagon and you will be doing it over again. Everyone knows its not easy and everyone is different but it's best to be trying to quit rather then not trying to quit. Look at it that way.
