Just a quick question

I am going CT, but my mate attends these Hospital visits...chat with nurse, perscription for NRT... blow into the Carbon meter sort of thing.

Now when they first started going, the nurse said no one ever gets to 0.... because of environmental issues etc.. Now, when my mate and her hubby first went, she was a 15 and he was 18. Bit by bit it came down... then she was down to a 2 and him a 3..... then they went last week and she was a 8 and he was a 9... yet they both say they haven't smoked  But the nurse said they have come back as light smokers...... whats going on??

confused.com:confused:

And well done to the both of you!!! xxx

Hi slinky, I dont know what could be happening. I know there is two sorts of co machines cos my smoke nurse was off last time I went and the nurse that replaced her had a diff maching and I blew 0.65 or something like that which still put me in non smoking bit. I know the other machine you can blow between 0-3 and be non smoker so dont know.

I have been told by two advisers that nobody gets 0, the fact that we have been in a polluted environment (outside) means non-smokers usually get 1 or 2, if the pollution is a bit worse could be up to 4/5. I went Thursday and some were reading 7/8 , others 2/3. They were using two machines and one was bust so when your mate and hubby went were others the same? David

Ive blown 0 twice and mark has blown it once when they were using those machines. His mate from work blew 1 and 0 when he went to the clinic on two seperate occations.
