Dad taken into Hospital with breathing problems, still struggling big time.
Doctor said his lungs are knackered so if he stops breathing they cant do electric shock thing and if they need to put a pipe in for him to breath it will never come back out.
Just got back from Hospital, please please keep your fingers crossed for him

I am so sorry your Dad is so porrly and struggling to breathe but he will be well cared for and they really can do a lot more than they could a few years ago when I was nursing
I shall keep my fingers crossed and also my toes and my thoughts and prayers are with you both
It can be a very tough time when a family member or friend is in hospital - the main thing is to stay off those fags because to be brutally honest buddy - that might be u in a year or so if u go back on the fags so just stay strong mate.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and ur dad at this time.

Just wanted to say how sorry I am about your Dad, lost mine not long ago and I really feel for you. At least you know he is free from pain and suffering that is what helped me though.
Thank you for all your messages, my Dad suffered lung failure due to many many years of smoking, he quit 6 years ago but only after the damage was done.
