when i first got to the 100 hour mark:

actually its more like 105 hours now, if you look at it that way its a real achievement seeing that as a smoker it was hard to see out the hour without a fag. its the big 5 days and unfortunatly iv been feeling under the weather, im all flemmy and feeling so poor, which is good in a sence because it makes me want a smoke less. But anyway looking forward to the big 1000 hours without a fag seeing it that was helps me cope

i did it, by 3:30 pm today i wil have gone 1000 hours without a toke :D , something that seemed a age away back then, possibly an unreachable goal. altough i have had the worst 3 days of my life i am stil so chuffed with reaching this goal, in the end all that matterd to me was proving myself to myself, and i think i have done that. so heres my next goal:

looking forward to the big 1 year mark

I think that as some point goals change to milestones, you become accustomed to being a non smoker, and it is just what/who you are now.

When that happens there can be a slight feeling of anticlimax but ultimately for me that was/is the greatest goal, not feeling like someone that was quitting but feeling like someone that doesn't smoke.

Well done,

Nic

Well done sourlink.

Just keep putting time between your last smoke and now and 1 year is not so far away.

I had great pleasure in telling all the smokers up the gate at work today that I hadn't smoked for 15 months today.

In fact, for the first time in all that time I rolled a fag:eek:,I handed it to the "poor smoker" and strolled off with a smug grin on my face to pick up my weekly KFC.

Not once did it cross my mind that I may like to smoke it.

Congratulations I will be looking out for you in the Penthouse

Great going on your 1000+ hours.

After I reached my goal of 1 year,I had a hard time getting through my

13th month, because I had no more goals. Now I just go by days not smoked

and go from there.....:)

I still think about smoking but thats it just think about it and not every minute just when im on here mostly or after a big meal.

Not what you're looking for?
