sore dry lips

has any one had this problem they r very sore and dry and keep cracking and bleeding i just wondered if this a effect from stopping smoking or not

Certainly not suffered from that myself and have not come across it as a symptom of quitting smoking.

That said there are all sort of things that effect people different ways, not pleasant I know but smoking made me sweat, so I smell nicer in 2 ways now :):rolleyes:

Haven't noticed a problem with either of the problems posted above!

Still suffering with the "quitzits" though, thoought they might have settled down by now but, no such luck!

Yes to both I'm afraid!

Thought I'd got over the spots-but they're back with a vengeance!

Not sure if the lip problem is down to quitting though-it has been quite windy of late so may be more connected to the weather. I live on the South coast so it can-and often does-blow a gale and the air is quite salty.

Anyway, whatever I'm still glad I've quit-especially with the torrential rain we've had for the past 2 days-I'd have got soaked many times over if I was still smoking!

Suppose I should be thankful I don't have dry lips with that sort of weather to contend with!:rolleyes:

Just spotted your location-I'm just a stones throw from you-Brighton way.

My it was hideous trying to walk anywhere today-wind was so strong I could barely put one foot in front of the other and as for the rain-proper stair rods!

Really good job I don't smoke anymore, I don't think my lungs could have coped with trying to breathe with that lot going on!

To think people actually pay good money to come here on holiday-they must be mad!

PMSL! Know what you mean, seafront on your door step, well today brought a whole new meaning to that as the road outside was flooded!!

Quite funny watching how people cope with trying to walk, hold a brolly and smoke in this weather, I know I never managed all 3 together!
