Horrid skin

I'm over half way through week 3 and my skin has turned into a nightmare!

I look like a hormonal teenager!!

I'm assuming it's the toxins working their way out of my skin (I HOPE!) and that it will improve but, in the meantime, did anyone else have similar experience around this stage? How long does it last and why does it always happen 2 days before I'm due to go out somewhere???

I don't want to be spotty!:( I haven't changed my skincare routine but, I have more spots than I have had in years and all at once, think I'm gonna cry!!:(:( (I'm 37 by the way, by no means a teenager!!)

You are correct its the toxins leaving your system, and it will pass.

Here's some info from another forum

I had this

I had this too but don't worry, my skin looks better than ever now, people have said it is glowing!

However it did last so prepare yourself, face packs, steaming and tea tree oil should do it.

Thanks so much for posting this kittycat!

I'm on Day 25 now and I've got terrible spots as well!

Read the article mentioned above only to discover my sore throat is normal too!

Still, I don't care, I'm actually quite pleased to have some physical signs of my quit-like a badge of honour really!

Oh and surely those toxins are better out than in!

Look in the mirror and be proud of what you are achieving-every hour of every day a little bit more poison will be expelled from your body!

100% the way I think of every symptom I had - that way of thinking about it is the way that helped me to keep my train of thought on the quit and not on the symptoms.
