Day 59 for me. I stopped on 2nd Jan so can I be in your New Year gang? Doing it with the aid of patches, chewing gum, choc, tea, coffee. Still have no sense of smell yet. When will that come back? Went swimming the other week & wasn't gasping for breath which I used to be doing after a length & a half so will be covering myself in goose grease and flapping across the channel any day now!

I forgot to put on my patch yesterday & when it got to about 17.00 I decided as I'd gone for so long it there was not much point. Woke up today & thought as I'd managed yesterday it could only get better today. DOH!!!! I have had to have a glass of wine at about 18.00 so that I can't now drive my car to the shop to buy some fags. Is this like starting again from day 1? I was bordering on feeling smug about my non smoking but am now feeling rubbish about it all. If I have to spend the rest of my life like this I may as well smoke. My midrift if totally huge as I can't stop eating. I am having the worst hair day of my entire life. I keep getting outbid on e.bay for everything. Gooooooodddddddddddddddddd.

And relax!! Tomorrow is going to be a fab day. I don't smoke, the weather is going to be better, I will have the coolest hairstyle.

I love this forum. I have got all that off my chest and now am really feeling better. Thanks oodles.

xxxx

yes ucandothis - well done!!!! you have done brilliantly now another day and the nic will be out of your system for good and you can feel even more smug. Put the weight thing to 1 side (ive had to, hate it but there u go) you can always go to the hairdressers with all the money u save!!

Keep up the good work and keep posting :D

Jojo was right. I had a rubbish yesterday but a better today. Have put another patch on though but a lower dose so it's not all bad news. The weather today was brill, I won something on E.bay for hardly any money so all's getting better in my world. Hope team NYQ have a fab weekend as do all the other non smokers on this forum.
