Hey guys. Im really struggling. I got a letter from my new job criminal record check saying the wrong person signed it and now I have to fill in the whole bastard form again.
I keep arguing with my fiance, I can't stop crying and I feel really down and angry and bluh.
It just feels as though it would be easier to have a cig to take all this away.

i know it's just i keep arguing with daz cos he doesn't understand why im so upset about it n i wouldn't be crying if i wasnt so stressed out. i know it would be stupid to have one after all this time but at the same time it's too hard to concentrate on trying to stop smoking when you have all these exrtra stresses. how can he not understand? it took me about 2 months to get my form sorted out + filled in + signed + get the right evidence + he thinks im just being stupid x x
He's probably trying to be helpful by playing things down so they're not a big deal - but to you they are a big deal and you need him to appreciate that.
Can you just say to him 'this is important to me, I'm having a bad day, now give me a hug' (you can add 'you muppet' here if you like!)
Break down the things you need to do - lists are great! Then focus on those things rather than smoking which you know will just make you feel worse.
that bloddy nic plays mind tricks with you doesn't he. "oh i can help you if you're feeling stressed" blah blah.
oh well get back on the hurdle i guess x x x x x
Totally. The addict part of your brain knows when you're at your most vulnerable and will use anything to get you to give it nicotine. Good news is, that part will get weaker and weaker the longer you do this and soon will just shut up altogether.
