Greetings All, day2 underway. Thank you all for your suggestions. I had read up about deep breathing exercises and does that ever work. At first hint of withdrawal I blast off 2 or 3 deep breaths and it really does help. Went for a nice walk with my wife last night, we plan on walking everynight. Laying totally off the brew for awhile, probably my biggest trigger. I am in a total hour by hour mode of quitting, sometimes minute by minute, I am trying to be as strong as I muster. I want this to finally be my quit so bad. It's all I think about and is very draining. Going to go talk a 5min walk around the building. Be back soon.

It is very tiresome, but will be worth it in the end I am sure. Deep breathing can really help and its fab your wife is walking with you, as we need all the support we can get.
A nice brisk morning walk! Keep it up & you will notice that walk is going to get better & better! I took my kids out on mischeif night toilet-papering( I know I'm bad) and with all the running and ditching in the woods from cars I was hardly huffing and puffing! It felt great!!

and I thought all the riff-raff was in the city
Steve... good deal man stay positive. Day 2 is a rough one but it's worth it. Just find distractions and find SOMETHING to put in your mouth and keep you blood sugar even... and most of all realize that whatever bad you are feeling is the addiction playing with your mind.

Well done Steve. I have been told the first 3 days are the hardest. Every day is a milestone, and you have got to push yourself to reach every single one.
