Hi Everyone. I found this forum by accident. I was searching as to weaning myself off Champix.

I'm into my 9th week of not smoking. I started taking Champix on July 5th, they have been a wonder drug for me. No cravings, no tantrums, only a few side effects, but, not enough for me to stop taking the tablets. The worst thing I have had is the metallic taste in my mouth.

After smoking for 44 years, starting with the odd ciggie, and ending up on 25 a day, I can honestly say...........no more for me. I'm sooo proud of myself.

Well done to everyone who has quit or on the way to stopping.
