back to work today and have found it a lot easier than yesterday when i was at home all day.
Had a weird dream about a long worm last night although i took the patch off at bed time
Ive not had any cravings as such for a fag, i just find i dont know what to do with myself at times when i normally smoke, like after lunch/dinner.
Funny how quick the sense of smell comes back, my colleague who still smokes reaked of cigarette smoke at work today, i have never noticed this before, so presumeably i used to smell the same?!
anyway, feeling pretty good about myself and i actually gave £5 to cancer research today - the £5 that i would have spent on a packet of fags today

I still can't believe I walked around so stinky!! lol
Occupying yourself is hard if you have nothing to occupy yourself with!
Spend some time writing a list of things, take this time to try something new even, something new won't be something that you have associated with smoking either!
Reading, writing, keep a journal, keep a blog, grow a plant, keep a pet, singing, phone a friend, do some chores, drawing, painting, gardening, walking, running, knitting?!
I bet you were proud to do something of benefit with your £5 today rather than using it towards an early death! why don't you put that £5 a day in a jar and use it to reward yourself.
It is very important that you do reward yourself and give yourself treats to keep a positive mental attitude.
Good Luck and keep up your strength for day 3, watch out for those worms

thanks!
got enough pets already, not the weather for gardening, i cant sing, have no imagination for writing, definitely cant draw or paint, knitting is for old women, i already run a web site, my wife and daughter have the monopoly on the chores in our house, my bad back means running out of the question, so that leaves phone a friend or grow a pot plant, i phoned a friend earlier, so grow a plant it is - i think ill start smoking again if thats the choice!
seriously though ive told my wife about the worm and said its likely to make an appearance tonight, just after we go to bed
Not that Kinda Pot plants  and worms in holes Geesh! guess humour is your distraction hehehehe
Perfect *hug*
Did I mention parachuting?
Well done, keep it up *ahem* not smoking that is!

tried a joint once, 2 drags and the room was spinning cartwheels, i had to lay down for half an hour and felt very ill! so didnt try that again!
no you didnt mention parachuting - i dont think that would help, id be nervous as hell and would smoke 20+ on the way up and another 20 upon landing (assuming i landed)
