Well I've made it to day 3. Not been too bad but when I do get a craving its a bad one. Also went to bed at 11.30pm and woke up at 01.30am and couldn't get back to sleep. Anyway ,bring it on I'm going to beat the beast.

Bless you all, The Bear.

Well done, you are doing great. I had problems with sleeping at times. It does get better. Your cravings will get better too. Be really proud of yourself:)

Thanks Sandra,

I'm getting really bad cravings this morning so I'm drinking more water. Much more liquid and I could float out the office door. Hanging in there though with everyones help.

Thanks Linda,

Fast approaching Day 4 and the confidence is high. Went to Mum in Laws last night. She's a smoker, and when she lit up I felt quite sick but she doesn't know I have stopped. Anyway it didn't make me feel like one, quite the opposite in fact. The smell was quite overpowering and just showed me what a vile thing the cigarette is. Really chuffed with myself and now realise what non-smokers must feel.

well done

hi well done for reaching day 4 i also found day 3 one of the hardest ,i went to my friends on sunday who smokes and she went in the kitchen to have one and i couldnt believe the smell thought she was smoking the whole 20 box not just one. i am also pregnant so my sense of smell is quite strong at the minute, i am into my second month and never ever thought i would get to this point it does get a little easier as time passes but stay strong and you can win this battle x:)

Hi Buffy,

It reminded me of an old ashtray that hadn't been cleaned for a long time. If I hadn't stopped smoking I would have never smelled it. Isn't it shocking how the weed manages to get the brain to send the wrong messages from our primary senses. God! why didn't I do this earlier ?

Luv, The Bear.
