Well here goes another day........as you will of hopefully seen, Day 1 went great and the nicotine monster was kept well at bay without any stress (not bad as a 30 per day smoker for the last 26 years).....now hoping that today goes just as well. New patch here we go....will let you know how it goes but now looking forward to day 3 coming around.
I have been here before after hypnosis (lasted 1 year), but this time wont be stupid to start again.........begrudge paying all that tax to help the NHS and other services going.......then have it shoved in my face that smoking is horrible, by those that are using my money!
Do you think the Government actually wants us to give up.......I dont think so! Good luck......never stop trying to stop!

Well thats Day 2 gone. At work last night and spent quite a bit of time near smoke sheds in a couple of places. Didn't phase me at all.......and I remained smoke free.......was'nt till I got home that a couple of times before I went to bed I actually thought about reaching for a cig.....stupid really as I didnt actually want a cig....and i reminded myself I was a no smoker!
Was so chuffed with myself after standing with the smokers .....watching them have a couple of cigs and not asking for 1.....I did tell them I had stopped smoking and heard all the reasons to keep smoking I've used before but never thought twice about eg:...
Oh I'll give up sometime?
Why give up something you enjoy?
I keep meaning to give up cause it's costing me a packet!
Been smoking for 20 years and never done me any harm!
and this is a corker reason: "Dr told me I'd do more damage to myself if I gave up"!
Suppose we all justify it someway eh.....but not anymore.
Anyway good luck all.......smokefree valentine day for me......Day 3 here I come
