Christmas was a bl**dy nightmare! My nan still smokes and kept offering me a cig saying it was a holiday and I shoudl do what I want. Thankfully she was only with us for a day! My friends are all on post-Christmas detox's too so we're all quitting together now.

Well done Pastelfairy, I'm on day 17 now and feeling good. Christmas wasn't too bad as no-one in my family knows I used to smoke (how ridiculous a grown woman hiding the fact she smokes from her parents!)

Don't worry

have you had more since? if you haven't don't worry abourt it, move on and forget. if you have then don't beat yourself up, it's taken me at least six attempts (i'm still only a month in this time). i'm using nasal spray this time, it hurt the first few times to use but i got used to it. the helplines have also been good, i call 0800 00 22 00 - they answer my questions and help keep me on the straight and narrow - give them a try
