Time of taking Ibrutinib

Hello folks, my partner has started taking Ibrutinib. He is taking it in the morning. We wanted to know if there is a certain amount of time between when he takes his pills and when he starts eating. At the moment, he takes his pills and usually has something to eat 1/2hr later. Does he need to give it a bit more time for the tablets to absorb before eating?
