Stubble head

I had my head shaved between the 1st and 2nd chemo treatments. As I'm approaching the 4 th treatment alot of my hair did not fall out. It's bothersome stubble now. Has anyone else experienced this?

The three times I had the type of chemo for NHL I decided not to shave my head but did get a cute short haircut. What I found was my body reacted differently each time and this made the transition from hair to no hair a little easier.

My suggestion would be to see if it keeps growing back and also consider going to a "Look Good Feel Better" class (American Cancer Society) to help with hair and appearance issues during chemo.

Thank you for responding! I wish I had just kept my hair sort like you said. There are no classes here in Helena, Mt. I have chemo tomorrow. I'll all the center what they suggest. Thanks again!!

My hair never fell out during chemo rchop and rituxan. Be comforted, it's only hair and it grows back. Best wishes in your recovery!
