pain in upper buttocks

does anyone know if that has anything to do with ckd stage 3? do lift weights two times a week and not sure. never had that before. was diagnosed8 yrs also with a compressed disc fracture and wonder if it is coming back. any advice. great. thanks

Doesn't sound like it's related to ckd, but you should check whether it's related to compressed disc fracture. I have pain in right buttock related to sacroiliac pain. I wonder whether lifting weighs is a good idea considering your previous fracture. Perhaps a physical therapist could suggest alternate excercises.

I fear it may be your disc, I would rule that out first.

Flank pain is quite common in some forms of Kidney disease.
