internal cramping

I donated a kidney in 2015. Lately if I move wrong I feel like I get a cramp near one of the incision sites. It will also leave behind a bit of a lump where the cramp was.

has anyone experienced such a thing?

Interesting. I’m a transplant recipient (2002) and I’ve always been prone to cramp around my surgery site (lower right abdomen). I’ve always put it down to the muscles & nerves not healing perfectly after surgery. Like all cramps, I find it has happened more when I’m dehydrated, tired, run down, not as fit as I should be etc. Putting on & taking off socks has invariably been a trigger for me!
