I wanted to share a tip - I found these Purell hand sanitizing wipes in individual packets (alcohol based, not baby wipes). They are so easy to carry with me - I carry them in my backpack, purse, pocket, etc.
I wash my hands as much as possible, but sometimes there is nowhere to wash. I use hand sanitizer if I have to but I really don’t like the way it feels afterward. I also like that I can rub my hands with the wipes and feel like I am getting more clean than with hand sanitizer.
It has made me feel much more independent and confident away from home. Hope this helps someone!

Alcohol based sanitizers absolutely do not kill the norovirus. That’s the one that gives you vomiting and diarrhea. It’s the fecal to oral method, someone doesn’t have “clean” hands and prepared your food, etc. or you touch a contaminated railing. Just keep that in mind. I’m 100% right, this information can easily be found on the internet.
Thank you for sharing that information. I understand the science of it and always wash my hands when I can. When washing my hands is not an option, I prefer to rub my hands with a hand sanitizer cloth rather than simply using hand sanitizer. It is not perfect, but adds some layer of protection.
We’re all searching for ways to do our best in the varied circumstances of our lives, and I always appreciate hearing the experiences of the beautiful people on this forum. Wishing everyone good health!
Thanks for the tip. I think the one and only good thing to come from the pandemic is that many more people are practicing better hand hygiene and perhaps staying home when sick.
Thank you, I am always aware of touching something w my hands bc of germs! Being on anti rejection drugs means its so easy to catch anything. Thanks again, I will look on amazon for them.
