I got a transplant about a year and a half ago. I received it 3 days before my 70th birthday. I can relate to you my experiences if you want . I’m doing well.
P.S. I see you’re a Jackie. I presume you’re female. I’m a Jack, but my deceased parents and siblings still call me Jackie.

Yes, that is what you got to do...one day at a time! Make sure if you have any problems that you tell your nephrologist ASAP! You know your body better than anyone and know when something isn't quite right. I have learned that I have to be my own advocate!
Hi 3KMa! Welcome! My hubby received his transplant on 6-28-21, just a few months after you, following a year of dialysis. He was 71 at that time. He had a difficult recovery (a-fib, ureter leak, foot drop) but he is doing very well today! Hope to hear from you again!
