Hi all - I’ve been lucky to get in the Johns Hopkins antibody study and have been getting tested. I had a very very mild positive only after my third dose (2 Pfizer then 1 Moderna). After my first moderna booster (4th shot) my antibodies increased from 74 to 1928 u/ml, although nobody can tell me what that means, just higher the better. I’ve been told by my team/cdc guidance to get boosted every 4months. I just tried to get boosted (5th shot) and I was rejected for being TWO days early. Ugh I’m trying to time it bc exactly another 4 months will be right before my wedding day and even getting boosted has made me sick/bad side effects so I don’t want that! I just got my study antibodies tested prior to this dose and my antibodies actually went UP slightly after 4 months - which is great but again, what does that mean and has anybody else experienced this? [for reference I’m only on Cellcept]. My questions are, 1, has anybody been told anything about antibody levels meaning anything? And 2, have you been able to go through a doctor or something (other than a pharmacy) which turned me away so I can get the next booster just slightly early so it’s not the day before my wedding? 🤦🏼♀️

While there is no data on what is the "minimum threshold" of levels to be "protective", higher is better. I or MDs I work with don't think there is any issue of getting the second booster a few weeks early, see if you can get a note to get vaccinated from your doctor by explaining to them about your upcoming big day. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!
Revisiting this in the event it gets seen again, plus I have an update. Just got my antibodies tested 1 mo post 2nd booster (so 5th shot) and again my antibodies increased exponentially (1951-10,300). So if you’re on the fence with no responses from the vaccine they are accumulative!! I didn’t have a response after first 2 shots, barely anything after 3rd. Anybody been told anything about average antibody numbers?
