Today I am dealing with the worst case of trembling hands and legs. I am wired but also just want to sleep. My Prednisone has been lowered to 5mg more than a week ago. Also my Tacrolimus is now 3 mg in the morning and 2 mg in the evenings. I've felt nauseas all day

5 Weeks post op transplant
You're still early on in your post transplant journey. It took about four months for my transplant center to settle on the right dose of all my meds for me. It's been tweaked along the way in the past five years but pretty much stable now. But in the beginning, my hands were trembling for a few weeks. Towards the end, though, it was only when I was writing; I couldn't hold my hand steady. I'm now down to 2.5 mg of prednisone every other day. I asked for the lowest dose possible because I also have osteoporosis. I hope your trembling goes away soon.
Thank you for responding. It absolutely helps to know that everything I am feeling and experiencing is normal, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have to keep reminding myself this is a slower recovery than I have ever been through before. This community helps me a great deal. When I was 50, I had a complete hysterectomy and had six weeks to recover. A complete hysterectomy means you go into menopause as early as 24 hours of surgery. As a result I had many sleepless nights, so I went online to find a community. I found Hyster-Sisters, and they saved my sanity being able to talk with others that had "been there, done that".
